Board members present were Ken Richardson, John Devine, Dave Johnson and Pat Mallow. Also present was Town Clerk Deb LaRiviere. The meeting came to order at 6pm.

• Dave motioned: “To approve the minutes from the June 06 and June 20,
  2005 Select Boards meetings.” Ken seconded. There were no changes, all were in favor, motion passed.
• Dave motioned: “To sign a contract with the Visiting Nurse Association.” Pat
  seconded. There was no discussion, all were in favor, motion passed.
• Deb told the Board that she had approved a Special Events Permit for Bolton
  Valley for an Intertribal Pow Wow. Previously, the Board approved permits for Bolton Valley for these events with the understanding that BV would come back to the Board if attendance surpassed 250.
• Ken motioned: “To authorize the Board to sign the agreement with the State
  for the Marshall and Swift program.” Dave seconded. There was no discussion, all were in favor, motion passed.
• The Board signed a joint letter (Select and Planning Boards) to Redstone’s
  Larry Williams asking for a master plan.
• Warrants were signed.
• The Board reviewed the year end Reserve Fund spreadsheet.
• The Board reviewed the emergency management memo submitted by Jerry Mullen.
• The Board discussed several recent complaint calls regarding the Wheeler
  Gravel Pit. Complaints have indicated excessive extraction, hauling on Sundays and speeding on the roads. The Board would like this turned over to ZA Dick Ward since it becomes a zoning violation. A copy of Dick’s letter should be sent to both pit owner Jeff Brown and to operator Craig Cowles.

There was no other business to be brought before this Board at this time. Pat motioned to end the meeting, seconded by Ken. The meeting ended at 7pm.
