MINUTES FROM THE JANUARY 27, 2005 SELECT BOARD MEETING

Board members present John Devine, Ron Lafreniere, Jerry Mullen and Pat Mallow. Also present was Town Clerk Deborah LaRiviere, The meeting was called to order at 6pm.

• The Board met to discuss the possibility of applying for a VCDP Grant for the

town to loan to Bolton Valley Resort. Jerry motioned: “To authorize the Board to apply for a VCDP Grant.” Ron seconded. There was no other discussion, all were in favor, motion passed. Pat motioned: “If awarded the grant, the town should turn administration duties over to the State of Vermont.” Jerry seconded. There was no other discussion, all were in favor, motion passed. Ron motioned: “To use 2% interest and a thirty year re-payment plan contingent on Town Attorney Robert Fletcher agreeing.” Jerry seconded. There was no other discussion, all were in favor, motion passed.

• The Board signed the VLCT insurance agreement.

There was no other business to be brought before this board at this time. Jerry motioned to end the meeting, seconded by Pat. The meting ended at 6:10 pm.
