MINUTES OF SCHOOL DIRECTORS MEETING
Smilie Memorial School, Bolton, VT
Meeting came to order at 6:30 pm.
ATTENDEES:
Vicky Congdon, Phil Graff, Fred Kenney, Lisa Wells
Guests: Laura Nassau
1. There were no comments from community members.
2. Laura Nassau reviewed the terms of the tax anticipation note. Fred moved to borrow in the amount of $494,000 from BankNorth for the tax anticipation note; Lisa seconded. All in favor.
3. Lisa moved to authorize the Chittenden East treasurer to open an investment account at BankNorth; Vicky seconded. All in favor.
4. Lisa updated the Board on her recent election as President of Chittenden/Grand Isle chapter of VSBA and asked the Board for recommendations for the Vice President position, which is currently open.
Meeting adjourned at 6:45 pm.
The next meeting has been scheduled for 7PM, August 13, 2003, at the Smilie School.
