MINUTES OF SCHOOL DIRECTORS MEETING

Smilie Memorial School, Bolton, VT

March 14, 2002

 

 

Meeting came to order at 7:15 pm.

 

ATTENDEES:

Vicky Congdon, Gail Conley, Phil Graff, Fred Kenney, Lisa Wells, and Ann Whitman

Guest: Deborah Price

 

GENERAL ITEMS:

1. There were no comments from community members:

 

ACTION/DISCUSSION ITEMS:

 

2. At 7:20 pm, Lisa moved that the Board enter into executive session, under the authority of Title 1 VSA, Chapter 5, Section 313 (3) to interview a finalist for the principal’s position and to evaluate the finalists. Vicky seconded. All approved. At 8:45, Lisa moved that the executive session end; Ann seconded. All approved. 

 

3. Vicky moved to accept the invoice edit list of 3/7/02 in the amount of $11,876.60; Ann seconded. All in favor.

 

4. The Board decided to attend a VSBA workshop on 4/13/02.

 

Meeting adjourned at 9:15 pm.

 

 The next meeting has been scheduled for 7PM, April 3, 2002, at the Smilie School.
