The committee continued the review of the document. Changes (indicated in italics) to the document and discussion included:
Article IV Specific Use Standards
· Page 4.1, Section 4.2, Accessory dwelling, (1) Limited only to “owner” or does this include family?
· Page 4.3, Section 4.4 Camper (b) 120 days.
· Page 4.4 (B) Undeveloped primitive campgrounds, add yurts.
· Page 4.4 Fill in sections missing in Table 4.2
· Page 4.6 Section 4.10 Gas Station. (2). Delete the entire second line.
· Page 4.9 Section 4.12 Group Home (B) “…residential care facilities may be allowed…”
· Page 4.9 Section 4.13 Home Business (3) “…with a residential use, are prohibited.”
· Home business: “the sale of goods or services produced on the premises”, is this too limiting?
· Page 4.10 Fill in sections missing in Table 4.3.
· Page 4.12 Section 4.15 Mobile Home Park. (6) Density = ¼ acre lot size, not 7,000 square feet. (7) Setback a minimum of twenty feet.
· Page 4.20 (11) Add “If this is not possible, the utilities shall be installed at ground level.”
· Page 4.21 (I) Continuation Obligations. (1) “Town/transmitter”??
· Page 4.22 Section 4.20 Temporary Structure or Use. (A) (1) Need to accommodate seasonal use, i.e. the wedding tent at Bolton Valley.
· Page 6.2 Table 6.1 #3. Sketch Plan. Keep at 90 days. #4 Minor Subdivision. Why would the ZA extend, as 180 days seems sufficient.
· Page 6.4 Table 6.2 Application information. “evidence” shall either be by registered mail by applicant with receipt, or providing stamped addressed envelopes to the DRB Clerk.
· Page 6.6 Line 5, delete “will, however.” (typo)
· Page 6.8 Performance Bonding. Provide guidelines for amounts of bonds?
· Page 7.2 Lines 7,8,10. Change “should” to “shall.”
· Page 7.4 Line 34, what is “adequate?”
· Page 7.5 Line 46, change “should” to “shall.”
· Page 7.8 Line 48. Why avoid dead end streets and cul-de-sacs?
· Page 7.9 Line 5, delete, typo space.
· Page 7.9 Line 7, why prohibit dead end roads in excess of 1800 feet in length?
· Page 7.10 Line 19, what is this in reference to? “Submission of letters.”
· Page 7.11 Line 5; add “RV District” or other districts as needed.
· Page 9.4 Line 25. Check history of permit length and extension, 2 years plus 1 additional year?
