DEVELOPMENT REVIEW BOARD

 

NOTICE OF DECISION

 

This matter came before the Development Review Board (DRB) on the application of  Patrick Smith, landowner, for final subdivision approval for an addition of a 5.2-acre parcel, creation of nine (9) lots.  Lot 9 to be conveyed to Climbing Resource Access Group Vermont (CRAG Vermont) for recreational purposes.  Tax Map parcel #8-904049 (AR-I and R-2 Districts).

 

The DRB conducted a duly warned hearing on February 19, 2003.  Appearing on behalf of the application were Patrick Smith, landowner, Heather Hibbard, Board President CRAG Vermont, Pam Moreau, Langrock, Sperry and Wool on behalf of CRAG Vermont, and Tom Buck, Board member CRAG Vermont.  Based upon the testimony provided at the public hearing and the documents submitted to the DRB (contained in the documents of file for this application), the DRB decides as follows:

 

DECISION

 

The DRB unanimously approves the Applicant’s request for final plat approval for final subdivision approval for an addition of a 5.2 acre parcel, creation of nine (9) lots, with Lot 9 to be conveyed to the Climbing Resource Access Group Vermont for recreational purposes with the following conditions:

 

1.     That Lot 9, 5.2 acres, conveyed by Patrick Smith to CRAG Vermont, is to be used for recreational purposes only, not for development purposes.

 

2.     That the subdivision Mylar be recorded in compliance with the Town Clerk’s requirements within ninety (90) days of subdivision approval.

 

3.     Access to be provided across lot #8 for future use, should present access be abandoned.

 

Approved by Resolution of the Development Review Board of the Town of Bolton, Vermont, on February 19, 2003, subject to the requirements and conditions of said resolution.
