Mike Rainville called the hearing to order at 7:04 p.m.
Agenda Item #1 Lafreniere Final Plat Application for a Three Lot Subdivision
This hearing was convened to consider the final plat application of Ronald Lafreniere, 895 Duxbury Road for a three (3) lot subdivision located on Duxbury Road. Lots 1 and 2 contain approximately 2.1 acres each, and lot 3 contains approximately 168 acres. Tax Map parcel #8-1007 (AG/R-I and R-II Zoning Districts).
Ronald Lafreniere appeared on behalf of the application.
Mike Rainville swore in Mr. Lafreniere.
Dick Ward stated that the Board had reviewed Mr. Lafreniere’s plan in February 2002, and that there had been no changes for the final application. Mr. Ward stated that Mr. Lafreniere has the septic disposal system on record, and the Select Board had signed the curb cut permit. Mr. Ward added that if the Board approved Mr. Lafreniere’s application the Mylar would need to be signed and recorded within ninety (90) days of approval, and the lots surveyed and given to Mr. Lafreniere’s sons.
Mike Rainville asked Mr. Lafreneiere what the two smaller lot sizes were. Mr. Lafreniere replied the two lots were 2.1 acres each. Mike Rainville asked if the septic disposal systems were mound or regular. Mr. Lafreniere replied that they were regular systems designed by Todd Hill of Duxbury.
Mike Rainville asked if there were any questions or comments. There were none.
Rob Heimbuch made the motion to approve the final plat application of Ronald Lafreniere for a three-lot subdivision, with two lot sizes of 2.1 acres each, and one lot size of 168 acres on Duxbury Road. Susan Vita seconded the motion. Approval was unanimous.
Mike Rainville signed and dated the subdivision Mylar.
Agenda Item #2 Minutes April 24, 2002
Rob Heimbuch made a motion to accept the minutes of April 24, 2002.
Susan Vita seconded the motion.
All were in favor.
Agenda Item #3 Any Other Business or Communications
The Board reviewed the availability of two upcoming workshops sponsored by CCRP and VTLCT on May 29, 2002, and June 12, 2002, and made plans for Board members to attend both of the workshops.
The Board met with Greg Swan, Bolton resident, who had sat in on the hearing and was interested in serving on the DRB. Dick Ward reviewed the duties and responsibilities of the DRB and the VT Planning and Development Act with Mr. Swan and gave him a packet of information pertaining to the DRB. After a brief discussion with the Board members, Mr. Swan stated that he would like to join the Board, and Dick Ward noted that he would speak with the Town Clerk to have Mr. Swan appointed to the DRB.
